History

The European Chamber of Commerce (Guyana) (ECCG) was established in October 2023 to support a growing number of European companies with a subsidiary in Guyana, trading relations with Guyana, or concrete plans to invest in Guyana.

ECCG was officially launched on November 20, 2023 during an economic mission of over 30 European companies to Guyana.

In February 2023, ECCG became a member of the European Business Organisation Worldwide Network, the first global network representing the voice of European business in over 50 key markets outside the European Union.
